DeNotes vs Google Keep

Google Keep is built for capturing something in five seconds. DeNotes is built for what happens after, when a thought needs a home and a note becomes a document.

What Google Keep does well

Keep is fast and weightless. Coloured cards, checklists, reminders tied to a time or a place, voice notes and a widget that captures a thought before it is gone. It is free, it is already attached to your Google account, and for shopping lists and passing ideas it is close to perfect.

Where DeNotes is different

Keep is deliberately flat. Notes are cards you organize with labels, there are no folders, there is no Markdown, and a card that grows into something long stops being comfortable to read. DeNotes is built for the writing Keep was never meant to hold: Markdown rendered as you type, folders that nest without limit, files that group related notes, and goals that notes attach to. DeNotes also uses your Google account, but it writes real Markdown files into your Drive rather than keeping cards in Keep. For quick throwaway thoughts, DeNotes has stickers, which sit on the workspace for a day and then clear themselves.

Side by side

Structural differences only. Plans and prices change often enough that comparing them here would go out of date faster than it would help.
